Your dentist doesn’t need to change just because your plan’s network did.

Starting January 4, 2027, Capitol Hill Dental is out of network with Delta Dental. Here’s what that means for you.

  • Same dentist
  • Same hygienist
  • Same records
  • Same care

Two ways to pay for your care, right here

Your dentist, hygienist and records stay right here at your current dental practice. You have two options for paying for your care:

1. Keep using your Delta Dental benefits here

We file the claim for you. We’ll tell you before your visit what you’ll pay that day, and reimbursements typically take about two weeks after the visit, directly from the plan. We’ll just be out of network.

2. Join Colonial Dental Plan

Do what so many of our patients have done for many years. One yearly fee for your routine care, 20% off other care done by a general dentist, 10% off specialty treatment, and no insurance in the middle.

Common questions

Can I still see my dentist?

Yes.

Will Delta Dental still pay anything?

Most plans still pay for care here out of network. We’ll file the claim for you. We’ll tell you before your visit what you’ll pay that day, and reimbursements typically take about two weeks after the visit, directly from the plan. To change what your plan covers, talk with Delta Dental, or your benefits team if your plan comes through work.

I have a visit before January 4.

It’s billed to Delta Dental as usual. It’s also a good time to use your 2026 benefits before December 31.

I’m in the middle of treatment.

Talk with the front desk so we can plan the timing with you.
